Melt and Pour Soap Base - SLS Free Shea Butter
This is a fantastic melt and pour soap base, a highly moisturising soap that is gentle on the skin with a thick, creamy lather.
A premium soap base that brings a touch of class to any recipe, and gives a great homemade feel to every bar. By all accounts our favourite soap base.
SLS free and very easy to work with, for the seasoned soap maker or the beginner.
Choose between 1kg, 5kg or a bulk 11.5kg option.
Basic instructions:
Take the soap from the packaging and chop into chunks - the smaller they are the easier they are to melt. Choose whether you are melting it in a double boiler or a microwave, and heat slowly. Try not to boil the soap base, and when it is fully melted add your chosen colourants and fragrances. Pour into a mould, and leave to set. Once set, remove from the mould and wrap in cling film to prevent moisture loss.
